ARA

This year the ARA has committed close to R200 000 TO selected Universities around the country I support of their annual Buddy campaigns to combat abuse and in particular drunk driving.

Universities engage in activities like a mascot dance, alcohol-free events, and awareness campaigns among first-year students during orientation week, exhibitions focusing on responsible drinking, and lots of other fun activities that encourage students to drink responsibly.

The ARA this year supported the University of Stellenbosch, KZN (Pietermaritzburg) and contributed funds to Rhodes for their new initiative, “Get Home Safe”.
